Whether you’re at home or in the office, Tripp Lite’s U280-004-UK 4-Port USB Charging Station provides enough ports and power to keep your devices at 100% capacity. No more peering behind furniture to find an available outlet or unplugging one device to charge another. You can charge up to four tablets, cell phones, laptops and other devices at the same time. The U280-004-UK doesn’t require a computer, so you can take it anywhere AC power is available. The U280-004-UK simultaneously provides up to 5V, 1.5A of power per port at maximum capacity. Each individual port supports USB Battery Charging (BC) v1.2 and is capable of delivering up to 5V, 2.4A, which is enough for charging even battery-intensive devices like the Apple® iPad®. To charge your USB devices, simply connect the 1.2-meter power cord’s BS-1363 plug to an AC power outlet, and connect your devices to the available USB ports. The unit protects against overheating, overcurrent and overcharging—in fact, it stops charging as soon as your devices’ batteries are at full capacity. A front LED indicates the unit is turned on and receiving AC power.
